課程概述 |
This course will include readings of selected short stories, listening comprehension, speaking activities, and opportunities for oral presentation.
Students in this class are encouraged to speak in English, participate in class discussions and instructional activities.

課程目標 |
This course is designed to help students develop their skills in the English reading, listening, speaking and writing abilities of college freshman students. Both language and literature will be studied with the aim of developing proficiency in communication. |

課程要求 |
The two major examinations in this class are a midterm and a final examination. Examinations will cover all the readings and material discussed in class. Time and place of these major examinations will be announced two weeks in advance. (See schedule sheet). Assignments and tests will be announced in class. |
